Toni Butler, LLMSW

Coming to therapy for the first time can feel daunting. We all crave familiarity, so stepping into growth often brings discomfort—but that discomfort can serve as a catalyst for transformation. As a therapist, Toni believes in meeting you exactly where you are, offering support through the process of self-discovery. Toni offers a warm, welcoming space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly and without judgment. She views her role as a collaborative partner in helping you untangle what feels overwhelming, while honoring that you are the expert in your own life.

Toni’s approach to therapy is intuitive, curious, and deeply client-centered. She draws from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), tailoring techniques to best address each individual’s needs. She also integrates a somatic approach, recognizing that healing doesn’t just happen through insight, but through attunement to the body. Toni helps clients develop awareness of how emotions and trauma are held physically, incorporating tools to support regulation, presence, and embodiment.

Strong therapeutic relationships are built on empathy, patience, and authenticity. Toni offers a balance of support and challenge, helping you move toward the changes you’re seeking at a pace that feels right for you.
