Kerry Prior, LPC, MEd

Kerry Prior is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor dedicated to helping clients achieve meaningful change. Her practice focuses on individual, relationship, groups and transformative counseling—empowering clients to heal, set goals, establish healthy boundaries, develop deeper self-awareness, and overcome self-limiting patterns. Known for her relentless commitment to client success, Kerry meets people where they are and supports them at their own pace, offering practical tools and compassionate expertise every step of the way.

Kerry believes strongly in providing an alternative to “big box” counseling centers by offering high-quality, personalized therapy rooted in genuine connection. Drawing from her own life experiences, she understands how challenging change can be and is passionate about helping others discover purpose, resilience, and hope.

A graduate with honors from Vanderbilt University with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology, Kerry is fully licensed by the State of Michigan and has served on the West Michigan Counseling Board of Directors. She is BISCMI-certified in Batterer Intervention Services, provides clinical supervision for Limited Licensed Professional Counselors (LLPCs), and facilitates specialized trauma trainings for professionals. Kerry has also taught psychology courses at Grand Rapids Community College, where she enjoyed mentoring and inspiring future professionals.
